MP 3 vs 3 Soccer Tournament


On Monday, June 6th at 6 PM, Mt. Pleasant High School seniors Hannah Kahn, Kyle Montgomery and John McCarthy will be hosting a 3 vs 3 soccer tournament at Mt. Pleasant’s Horizon Park as part of their senior project. The cost is $12 per team, with up to six players per team.

A bake sale will also be held in conjunction with the tournament. Mmmm… bake sale… Mmmm…. soccer…





Pavilion Dedication Recap


Saturday, the Mount Pleasant Soccer Club and the city of Mount Pleasant were proud to unveil and dedicate the new Carolynn Cosan Pavilion at Horizon Park. The weather was more akin to late November than May, but that didn’t stop a large group of hearty club supporters from coming out to enjoy multiple matches of soccer, a tasty hotdog or three, and join in the unveiling of our new pavilion and concession stand in the memory of Carolynn Cosan.

U12 Boys Update


Saturday afternoon the MPSC X-Treme U12 boys moved to 0-1-2 with a draw against Bay City. Michael Brookens scored 2, and Irvin Cudjoe scored 1 as the boys continue to improve on the young season. Next weekend the U12 boys take a week off from league play and head to the 2016 Midland Invitational. Good luck boys!



U14 Girls Update

The MPSC X-Treme U14 girls currently stand at 4-0 in league play. The girls have had six different goal scorers and have used eight different defenders in multiple formations, with Brigid Boyle & Maiya Hessbrook leading along the way.
