Saturday, the Mount Pleasant Soccer Club and the city of Mount Pleasant were proud to unveil and dedicate the new Carolynn Cosan Pavilion at Horizon Park. The weather was more akin to late November than May, but that didn’t stop a large group of hearty club supporters from coming out to enjoy multiple matches of soccer, a tasty hotdog or three, and join in the unveiling of our new pavilion and concession stand in the memory of Carolynn Cosan.

Below is a gallery of various photos that recap a Saturday packed with matches that started with the X-Treme U12 boys kicking off at 11 AM vs Saginaw in gusting winds and snow flurries and ended with a heartfelt dedication of our new pavilion and concession stand, also in gusting wind and snow flurries. Oh Michigan, we love you but…

The MPSC extends a heartfelt gratitude and thanks the tireless volunteers, supporters, staff, and sponsors for all of their hard work in making this vision happen. Most of all we thank the coaches and kids who work hard every week in practices and games to bring the beautiful game to central Michigan.
